I finished watching Rosy Business! The ending is okay..so many people died :x In the end the 蒋家only left a few people. Hmm and I keep feeling that there is something between 四奶奶 and 柴九..but the story just say they are very very good friends haha so just take it that way. I shall watch No Regrets soon! :D

Yesterday had 6 hours of break in school..ate Chang's Korean Restaurant at Utown and its really nice! I ate Kimchi stew and its like the nicest one I have ever eaten, and the price is like food court food only! I shall eat there very often and try everything wahaha! :D

First day of school and I went home feeling rather depressed :( I have 2 modules this sem which I am not taking with my friends, and these 2 modules happen to have lecture today. Really don't like the feeling of sitting alone while seeing other people sitting with their friends, feels so lonely. And those sitting alone won't make any move to sit next to you, or start talking. Haha I guess its normal since I don't do that too. Lucky Great Ideas in contemporary physics doesn't have project, if not I dunno who to do with. But that lecturer has a weird accent and I can't really make out what he is saying. Eintein is fine, the lecturer is quite entertaining. Hui En will be an independent girl who can survive alone!

Haha recently I have been watching alot of Rosy Business, almost finishing le. Its nice! When I was watching the first few episodes I was already hooked, and watch one after another. I shall continue with No Regrets soon :)

Happy New Year!!! 2012 is here! Woohoo~~~

This year I had a more unusual method of ushering in the new year, went to The Float @ Marina Bay to watch Celebrate 2012. It was quite fun i guesss, haha the 8min of fantastic fireworks made the $25 worth it all. There were really alot of people going there, queued for quite long before we finally went in. Hmm..but I think the artistes that they invited to perform are not very well known? Lol don't know anyone except for the MCs lol. When the clock struck 12, the fireworks started to explode hahahaha..haven't seen fireworks up close for very long :)

The concert ended quite soon after midnight, but the party at the dance floor started. We just went down to join in the crowd. Hmm you have to be zi-high in order to start jumping up and down like those people there. After that left for home!

I was quite emo today until after I woke up from my nap :) This is a new year, let us look forward to greater happiness :)

I made some new year resolutions for 2011. I went to look at them just now and realised I managed to fulfill quite a few! Not bad ah :p I shall make some new ones..

By the end of 2012, Hui En shall

1. Successfully bid for Level 1 Korean module (hope in get it in a few days time :p)
2. Maintain a CAP no lesser than 4
3. Make more new friends in NUS
4. Do a good job in my CCA
5. Get a chem tuition assignment
6. Be nicer to people around me
7. Stay healthy
8. Don't expect too much so that I will be happy

I feel young! :D

Yays just came back from christmas sleepover at Mel's! We went to orchard to 凑热闹 yesterday. There were alot of people..haha like us, just go for the fun of it. Shopped and walked around. Then ate dinner at Ramen Play. I like the carbonated Yuzu soju drink, so refeshing :) After that walked on the streets of orchard with the beautiful lights.

Reached Melmel's house at around 11pm, and Ted's family was there! Hahaha Ted is really cute :p After that had facetime with Lynette for like 2hours! Lol we felt like the 3 of us were sitting in a circle talking, and we laughed at a lot of things which I don't really remember already :D Slept at around 3am..haha I think I slept quite well ^^

Next day we just ate and play iphone games and walked around North point. Although we did nothing really special, but the whole sleepover just felt fun and enjoyable and left me feeling a sense of happiness :)

So troubled over what modules to take next sem. Should I minor in Physics? I need to take 4 physics for MOE, then to minor need 6. Just an extra 2 modules, seems like a waste not to minor. Its also my personal interest for physics, haha the spark started in year4 because of Mr Wong, lol but I think it died and somehow got revived. But the physics modules for minor that I can take this sem is in engin, coz its fr engin students..and it clashes with LSM1401. Then trying to fix in a cheap cheap gem also hard. Haix..headache headache :(

I came back from a short holiday to Batam yesterday. It was my mum's workplace holiday trip, and staff can bring their family along. So my whole family went haha!

We took a ferry from harbourfront to Batam, about 1hour trip. We stayed at Harris Resort, supposedly a very good hotel in Batam, but as compared to other hotels in other countries I think it failed in comparison :x The aircon don't seem to work and we had to call the room service in and they tried to fix it. After fixing it was better, but 18deg felt like 25 deg lol. And the wifi signal not very good also..sometimes can receive sometimes cannot..only the lobby has the strongest signal. Although the facilities not very good, but I think their service is great! We were warmly welcomed with cold plum juice, cold towels and dance by the staff. The service in Harris cafe was good too.

After checking in we went for a 1 day tour. First station was a kueh lapis shop. Haha now I know why this shop sells the most expensive kueh lapis ($25) as compared to other kueh lapis shops we visited. This one taste the nicest!

After that we went to eat seafood lunch at some outdoor restaurant. Then went to some local products shop which sells alot of crackers, but we didn't buy any..unhealthy food mah :p Next was shopping at a souvenir shop and 1st factory outlet. The factory outlet sells genuine clothes from Burberry and Polo Ralph Lauren. We spent the most money there. I think that is the only place you can find real branded stuff, the Nagoya shopping mall we went to sells fake stuff. You will know its fake when you see the price lol.

After the tour we went back to hotel for dinner. We ate buffet for every meal. Now I feel like I am scared of food :/ The food is okay, not exactly nice. Maybe not suitable for singaporean tastebuds haha.

2nd day started with breakfast buffet. Haha the food that I like best is the egg omelette. I ate like dunno how many eggs in the 2 days of breakfast :p After that there was teambuilding games. Coz its a company holiday mah, must bond the staff. And I was forced to join :( Okay lah, got enjoy abit. We played at the beach.

In the afternoon we went shopping at the same places again. There is J CO donuts at the Nagoya shopping mall. We bought 30 and treated everyone on the bus coz we want to spend finish the rupiah. One donut costs 6000 rupiah! Its only about $0.90, much cheaper compared to Singapore.

After that we went back to hotel to wash up and prepare for the cowboy night. Haha the theme of the dinner is cowboy thats why..and everyone had to dress up.

Do I look like a cowgirl? :p

Last day just eat and slack in hotel room, then checked out and left Batam. I feel great that I am living in Singapore. The living standard here is really good as compared to Batam.

Just finish watching Tofu Street, a 1996 mediacorp drama. Haha i was only 4 years old when it was showing. Saw it on mobtv so decided to watch it again.

It is really a very nice drama, just like it and kept watching. But the ending

is sad.. In the end 籮头 still didn't choose 四妹 who took care of him for so many years :(

I like these kind of old dramas..much nicer than the new mediacorp dramas, there is a special feeling to it..

I wanted to blog on tuesday, but kept forgetting. Now I am finally updating my blog :)

I was very high on tuesday night ever since leader won the best male solo artist award! congratz to leader! But he was the only SS501 member who came for the awards presentation.. Leader looked very cool that night :D

How should I spend my holidays? I have been slacking till now :/ And I keep playing with my iphone :p I like smurfs! So cute! Maybe I should start planning what modules to take next sem..heard from Rebecca that Korean need 1000+ points to bid :x Hope that this sem people suddenly don't want to learn korean, or the language centre can open up more classes.

Haha and now I can finally talk to my ssis through whatsapp!

I finished my exams yesterday. Don't know how I will do until I get the results. The most exciting one was 1131, so little time to do so many difficult questions. Hahaha I feel so proud of my graph plotting skills. I didn't want to draw the graph already coz not much time, then in the last 25min I managed to finish plotting a full graph + find gradient and I managed to solve one more question :D

I didn't really felt the "woah its over" feeling when the last paper ended..just felt normal.

I was hoping to find another tuition job to do, like teaching JC chem, but haven found any. Speaking of tuition, my student has not replied me about her PSLE results after 24hours. This tells me its not a good sign :x

I feel so accomplished today! Melissa and I managed to walk 10+ km at MacRitchie Reservoir! We went there to walk the treetop walk, and who knows that treetop is so far away and deep inside that we felt like it was never ending :x But after 4 hours of walking we finally got there! Its really nice up there, never walked such a narrow and tall bridge before. Then we spent another hour trying to get back to civilization lol.. We walked from the park to Island Country Club and walked that long long road out. Haha we shall not do such tiring walks again next time :)

Yays I am finally done with oral presentation! :D It was okay I think..better than the trial one hahaha. My classmates said I look very stable, which may be due to my numerous practices :D

Lab yesterday was not bad I guess..except that my THF was floating on top of my water, almost had to do solvent solvent extraction :x Lucky my TA dipped my beaker into cold water and the crystals formed! Woohoo! Organic expt are smelly..there was a period of time when my area had a horrible smell, and we don't know where it was coming from :x

Tmr will be a good day! 2 hours break which I hope we can go Utown to drink starbucks and hopefully not do tutorials :)

And today is Young Saeng's birthday! Happy Birthday to Young Saeng :D Hope to see SS501 perform together soon...

And the first thing I am gonna say is...I saw Ms Ek in school yesterday! We were rushing for tutorial and I saw her waiting for the lift. So surprised to see her and I greeted her :) She recognised me as her student, but didn't ask if I was from RV. I want more surprises in school!

2 more weeks to reading week and 3 more weeks to exams :/ Thats bad..I better start revising.

爱 ended its broadcast in Singapore today. Aww..after watching it for so long, it finally ended. Feels abit sad since I have been watching it ever since it started to show on weekdays, and that is really quite long. I guess the ending can be considered a happy one, the bad one die, the good one supposedly happy.

Raaarrrr! I have been raarr-ing alot recently. Oh..and I was told that "rawr" is I love you in dinosaur language lol. I went to Utown to have lunch today. Wahaha I am so in love with Utown, it just looks freaking nice and new. There is starbucks there and we get student discount :)

Saw my TA while walking to lecture today! Heee first time I saw him in school thats not because of lab. I was like smiling so happily..likes spiky hair :p Shall see him again 2 weeks later during lab :D

Hmm..I think I have been rather distracted and not paying attention during lectures these few days. Totally talking and doing childish stuff. Oh no..we should stop this! Exams in 4 weeks time >.< Haha but I like to play :p

I just found out that year6 graduated already, and I just watched a video of Mr George Lim singing for his class. :( 1 year has past since we graduated from RV..time really flies. Suddenly I miss RV so much so much again. The classrooms, the teachers, the friends, and every little thing, I really miss it. And whenever I miss RV, I will tell myself next time I will go back to teach. Yes, I am telling that to myself again :)

Uni just feels different from schooling last time. You do everything on yourself, its your own business if u wanna do work or not, nobody will chase after you to make you study. I miss those days, stress but I just like it :x

Went shopping after school today with Rebecca. Not bad! She spent alot of money lol. Haha and we finally got her a bday prezzie.

Omg..I hope not many people accidentally come across my blog while they are doing their lab report :x Shouldn't type out chemical names in my blog..my friend told me that my blog was the first link that came up when she was searching stuff :x

I had my lab test today. It was better than I expected..I was lucky I guess. My plant was nice to me and gave me lots of coloured compounds. The column chromatography was good too..beautiful bands of colours. The spectroscopy results were not bad too :)

Argghhh..I am falling sick :( Having sore throat and I can feel a runny nose coming too :(

Happy Birthday to ME! yays..Hui En turned 19 today!

I had many days of celebrations..saturday with dardar, monday with Vengyi, tuesday with Melissa & Lynette, and today the actual day I celebrated with.........chemicals! -.- Lab today was bad. Made lots of errors here and there then keep repeating. But my TA was nice, he let me use his CuI. Hehe that shall be my bday present from him. Lol I wanted to say its my bday when he wrote the date on my data sheet, but decided not to. In the morning I met Ms Jessie for SUJA conference, and I took 1hr when it was supposed to be 20min :( Oh yea..I dreamt of teachers before I woke up this morning. It was a nice dream with Ms Lee, Ms Tan and Mr Chua inside heee :D

Evening ate dinner with my family. My dad bought lots of food! Pizza hut's cheesy bite treats, and mac. Then ate cake also.

My birthday cake! It looks nice from here..with the colourful candles :) Its a chocolate cake, tastes delicious too :)

My birthday wish, for everyone I love and me to be happy and healthy always, for me to do well in studies :) Simple.

Finally finished my mid terms. Yays..Hui En is happy! Nothing much to comment about mid terms..wait till I get back the papers.

Next week is E-learning week..which means no official lessons. But still need to go back on wed for lab, which happen to be my bday :( This week lab was to synthesis CuI, the prof say my sample not good..but my TA told me the prof dunno anything. Hee likes TA! He helped my do my first suction filteration coz my filter paper broke lol.

E-learning week will be a good time for me to relax and do more work which needs to be done. If lab dun have lab reports, I think I will like it :x Then SUJA, and new media..must retake a video with a good camera >:(

I observed something, a dead rat can decompose alot in 1 week. Haha I walk to school everyday, and on monday there was this dead rat on the path which freaked me out. Then until today, many flies and insects had fed on it and its like flat dead rat now haha.

Anyway, Kyu Jong's 1st mini album is out. Its called Turn Me On. The title song is Yesterday. This is the MV! :D

Haha didn't know Kyu's voice is so smooth. The song itself sounds smooth. And that part when he do the body wave while pulling the strap looks cool!

I went for dar's POP this evening.

Everything was okay except that we couldn't find him when we went down to help him put on the rank..coz of some miscommunication. Lol..nvm. Haha the parade was quite grand, but dun have the song they played during bmt pop which I like hahaha!

After the parade there was buffet dinner provided. The food is quite good..there were the usual buffet food, then got ice cream and carrot cake and laksa. Arghh..but there were too many people, didn't even get to eat a single fried prawn coz it was all snatched away >.<

Army camp gives me a very different feeling..dunno why. But I will not get to experience it, not that I want anyway :p

I still have lots of things to study.. Its just too much and too hard :x Good luck to me on Monday, 3 tests and I will stay in school from 10am to 10pm :x

Omg..i just saw plastic melt infront of my eyes O.O

I was trying to make steam egg for lunch, so i put in egg mixture in the wok with a plastic cover over the egg mixture. 10min later I went to check it and guess what? The plastic cover softened and changed shape. I took it out and saw a hole in the middle of the cover. So shocking! The temperature was at 180deg celsius and it melted already. Don't trust plastic >:(

Lynette left for her studies on tuesday. It was a weird feeling while we were waiting for her at the airport and she came. We just stood at a distance watching her do the check in. At that moment I felt that I haven really looked at her properly before. Maybe I was trying to remember more of her before she leaves. Erm..actually I don't need to be so emotional right, technology is so advanced now that I can still contact her through other means. Heard from Melissa that her school has started and made a new friend :) Hahaha that professor of the homestay seems nice also. Lynette will do very well in UK :D Waiting for you to come back!

School work is really getting tougher. I feel like I am barely able to understand the new content. Recess week is starting after tmr. Really hope to catch up and revise for the mid terms 1 week later. I better do well...its not only my grades, I have MOE to answer to :x

Sleepover!

We finally completed our sleepover plans today :)

Everything was good..went to walk walk at orchard before going home yesterday. Then we had so much fun and laughter while taking photos in my room, and talked until don't wanna sleep :D

Woohoo then today we baked. Jamie Oliver's recipes are really good..except for some part which don't work out for us! :x The strawberry chessecake tastes heavenly, I like the cheese so much. Yummy! Haha our chocolate chip cookies also not bad, but I like the cake more :p Lets try out more Jamie's recipes..lynette, we cook for you when you come back ah :)

Fridays are bad! I am going mad!

I seriously think school hours are tooooo long for me on Friday. Can't take it anymore. The maximum I can tolerate is till half of CM 1131 lecture..and the lecturer just makes me grow more and more restless and jumpy. And this feeling of jumpiness doesn't go away after school ends. Tiredness adds on to this jumpiness as I do my lab report which gives me ∆H=38640.9778 ± 22526.783 Jmol−1 and
∆S=75. 0097394±74.6730224. Tell me! What kind of uncertainty is THIS??? Might as well say the experiment didn't give me any answer :/

Arghh...I feel like dying.

And it doesn't help to have a china senior as Math tutor.

Suddenly I miss SS501 after listening to their songs..haven't blogged about them for a long time. Haix..when will they come together as one again? I read that questions about SS501 were not supposed to be asked during the press conference when leader came. Seems like they are avoiding it. But what the fans want is really for them to perform together again.

I had lots of fun yesterday! Had my first lab session. Omg when I was going in I totally felt like I am going for a terrible exam. When I reached my seat, the teaching assistant just told me to start when I am ready. So sudden! Okay, so each person has a fume hood to themselves and all the reagents and glassware have to be taken from the centre bench. Made quite a few mistakes here and there, and the TA corrected me. We did a total of 5 sets of titrations! Titration has always been my favourite. Erhem..and I faked abit of my results, hope the TA didn't see :x I finished the experiment quite fast I think, then free to go!

After school went to Changi to fetch Kim Hyun Joong! I finally saw leader hahaha. His hair is curly, short with sort of golden colour. Don't like! >< And he was wearing big shades..cannot see his eyes :( He was wearing a cool black suit I think, didn't see his clothes clearly, focus was on his face! He left in a car, and the carplate number is 8400. Didn't know why I actually look at the carplate. After he left that DJ Ken was giving out 2 pairs of tix for leader's fanmeet. Awwww....heartache. Why? Coz he chose the woman next to me to answer the question! :((( It was so close..

Finally I finish watching City Hunter. I really like all the fighting scenes in the show..very exciting! The characters are quite likeable also..haha I suddenly thought of the sik jong ajussi. He is very funny with 2 patches of curly hair at the side LOL! And Lee Min Ho! Omg he is simple too good looking, and how can the clothes all look so cool on him?! Please come to Singapore again!

Ohh..and Kim Hyun Joong is coming to Singapore this wednesday. I have decided to go chase him after school, more specifically, after 5 hours of lab :/ I can't miss the chance to see him again, already missed it once :(

Uni started quite well..only attending lectures now, tutorial on starts next week. Hope life continues to be enjoyable and not too stressful :) But I miss the company I have for the past years...

Back from C-nergy camp yesterday. This camp is much more tone down than Scamp, alot less physical activities and more sitting and walking around. Haha I like this camp more and the people are easier to talk to also. And our OG's seniors are super nice! We are Elementz :D

:/ uni is REALLY starting next week. How? It has always felt like uni is still so far away.. Life is really gonna be different, managing my own work myself instead of having teachers to plan everything out for me. And chem suddenly feels very difficult to me. The seniors like know super alot more than us..all the complicated molecules and dunno what. And I am allocated to do lab this sem :x We toured the lab during the camp and the equipments are like I-dun-dare-to-use kind. Labs are 6 hours straight..hope I dun fail.

Then today went for MOE teaching scholarship presentation. Nth much..get presented with the cert then some performance and reception. So sad that Ms Lee couldn't come.

I went to watch Harry Potter today! Yup its nice :D Overall quite the same as the book except for some small things they changed. Haha I remember so well coz I just finished reading it again! The ending is funny..seeing the 3 of them pretending to be parents, especially Ron LOL. Didn't want it to end when it ended :(

After that we ate at pastamania. Its so long since the 3 of us went out together..
Ate alot and talked alot. I realised on my way home that I always leave with a smile after our outings, so..what does that mean? ;)

I just finished watching Secret Garden! Very niceee! *screams in happiness* Its like a wonderful ending, except that the mother still doesn't really approve. This is really quite a special drama, coz the storyline is like a fairytale, totally impossible to happen in reality. I want more secret garden! Joo Won Ra Im saranghae!

Anyway, my relief teaching in RV ended today. Teaching year4 is like just give them the freedom to do whatever they want, they want sleep then just let them sleep lor. Since they dun even wake up when I tap on their table afew times :/ Really hope to go back again in the future. I love the canteen food! Hahaha one of the sad things about leaving is that I can't get such nice and cheap food outside :(

Now, its time to get mentally prepared for uni. I hope I will be lucky and get through the next 4 years smoothly and happily :)

I wanted to blog since the Changi trip coz it was so fun! But I have been banning myself from the internet..which explains the lag :/

Our airport is a really nice place. If not for its far-from-town location, it will be flooded with erhem people :p The aviation galleries are fun and interesting! Saw interesting facts and objects. I like the Slide@T3 heeheehee. Shall go on it when I go Changi again :) August will be a good time to go!

I dread school now..Uni life hasn't even started and I am already so troubled by it. I guess most of the troubles are caused by myself. I just want a peaceful and quiet life..then be my teacher.

This is such a busy week. Down for invigilation at RV. Its really sian to walk around and watch people do papers. I rather teach, and the knock off time will be earlier also.

During my break yesterday I went back to 6E'10 classroom to take a look..nobody was inside anyway. I stood inside awhile to reminsce the past, and i stood at my seat to get back the feeling of my seat. Okay, this sounds abit stupid :x Anyway, they have some special cooling fan thats something like an aircon in every class. I read the instructions and it says have to put ice in order for it to blow cold air LOL.

I miss the people in RV, the people whom I can pour my heart and soul out to :(

Finally back from SCAMP yesterday. Super tired and sunburnt >.<

Shan't blog about the whole camp..since there is too many things to talk about. I went there feeling scared and nervous coz I dunno anyone there. But the ice breakers were good lol. First day after ice breakers we had lunch. All the packet food provided was not bad, but too much rice and too dry. Then had dry games in the field. The sun is really freaking hot and strong these few days, which explains my heavily burnt face :( At night we had secret pal interaction. All of us were blind folded and each girl will be paired with a guy to hold hands and talk for 1 hour. And the seniors keep making fun of us by making the couple eat a pokey stick from both ends :/ Slept at raffles hall the first night.

2nd day morning we had to make a gift for our SP. then afternoon was amazing race around NUS and the west part of Singapore. I totally felt like going home when we were at Clementi. Hee and we bought Koi! Holland village has many restaurants, practically the whole street -.- At night was Senior Oscars Award at the old NIE. That place has no electricity at all. The rooms we went into were so stuffy and warm that when we came out it felt like there was outdoors aircon lol. At night after supper was HTHT. Dunno why I so unlucky, had to lose indian poker at the last round when we can't change cards >.< Then the seniors asked me weird questions eekkksss!

3rd day was wet games. Woah the wet games seriously very wet and dirty. The most memorable ones was the wash hair game and the tomata sauce chairs games lol. Smelled like chee cheong fun after that hahahaha. Night was rag games. Woohoo Wyvern's raft was the fastest yays! 3rd night no more hall to sleep in..had to sleep in the super cold LT, shivering for the whole night :(

4th day! we went to sentosa..played lots of beach games and it ended with war games. Cragon was first, so we can stay at palawan beach to bathe hehe. All the girls dressed very nicely for the SP revelation and clubbing night. I was abit nervous when we were about to find out who our SP is..haha my SP is okay, but they all trying to act like gentlemen :x Then we went to club avatar. Its my first time clubbing so it was like an eye opener for me. The place is seriously loud and dark. The person next to me had to shout before I can hear. And the lights make people go dizzy. Haha I only got high when they were playing k pop. Hmm..but clubbing is not bad lah, makes people high and relax and dance all you want. Won't mind going again.

Last day was nothing much, just debrief, surveys, gift exchange with SP, cheers etc etc.

Ohh..I forgot to mention the mass dance. Its so much nicer and fun than RV mass dance. Everyone was dancing, and having fun woohooooo~

Haha I totally indulged in the good food there. All the chicken and fish and veggies and dunno what other stuff like desert :P Lol I think I ate quite alot..but still not worth the amt which I paid for :x There are alot of reservations made lor. We went there and they told us to leave our contact number so that when there is table then they will contact us. Luckily we waited for only 30min, if not we would have changed to eating other stuff. Since everyone ate happily, the money is worth it :)

I haven't blogged for a long time!

Kite flying at Marina Barrage was a failure :( Our kite didn't manage to fly up. The longest that it stayed in the air was like about 30seconds? Lol and it was so hot and tiring. Running around trying to get the kite to fly. And who said the weather will be rainy today..poor weather forecast. I guess it would have been very fun if the kite was flown successfully...

Haha I really like food alot! Ate lots of food yesterday, and if not for realising the amount of money that we spent on food, I will keep asking for FOOD! :p

Isn't this picture peaceful? This was taken at sungei buloh last week, when I went out with the sec2s for E&C week. If I rmb correctly, this is the place for people to watch birds during their migratory season. Its really quiet and peaceful..I won't mind sitting down to stare at the lake quietly :)

Yays! Yesterday I finally bought something that I have been wanting to buy for many years. Haha I bought myself a set of Teach Yourself Complete Korean. I have been wanting to get a korean language book to self study the language ever since I got fascinated by K dramas. :)

I have been teaching in RV for the past few weeks. Arghh..I think I may be losing my job sooner than expected. The last week before June hols is E&C week. The sec1s don't have lessons, which means they may not need me :/

Anyway, I enjoy teaching in RV. This makes me even more determined to go back to be a teacher. Hmm I am teaching Math now, but what I've always want to teach is chem. But after teaching math I think its okay..lol not as boring as I thought it will be. Will this change my mind to study math for uni? Unlikely..I will not study math at such high level. However, now I am considering Food Science and Technology or Pharmacy. Haha coz I like food, and those who know me well will know I like to play with food after eating. Pharmacy coz I think studying how drugs work is fun, and I'll know what they are made up of. Dunno lah, but I want to be chem teacher.

Ms Zeng is nice :) She never taught me in RV before, but now she teach me how to teach lol. She is the sec1 coordinator, so I'll ask her when I have problems, and she will tell me how to teach certain topics, and methods to make the sec1s understand the concept.

I wanted to get the freebies that the tech expo were giving out, so I went to suntec in the morning on friday. When I reached there, there were alot alot alot of people, and there were many different queues. Ha..after we went to find out which queue is for the freebies, we realised that the 500 sets are already fully booked. Meaning there are already 500 people in the queue. Lol those people went to camp over at suntec for dunno how many days lor..singaporeans are really kiasu :x

So I decided to go Melissa's house early. But the 2 of them were not awake yet, so I went to the library. And then I saw more kiasu singaporeans there. The library wasn't open yet, but there were already people waiting outside. Then when it was nearing the opening time, they started to stand infront of the library door, and the crowd grew larger and larger -.- Its just library...

The 3 of us finally met at Cold storage, and did grocery shopping. After that we went to Mel ssi's house! Haha ate lunch and helped to pack mel ssi's room. we felt so accomplised when her table seems much neater :) Woohoo then started cooking with melmel. Lol I am scared of stoves and frying stuff and peeling raw prawns. Anyway, Melmel's cooking is very good! We were satisfied with our food :) But when her parents came back and we wanted to cook for them..it became her dad cooking for us. Haha if we were to cook that big pot of beehoon or fry that chicken ourselves, I dunno what time we can have dinner :p

Lets cook more together :)

I am back teaching in RV :) Teaching 4 sec1 classes now. Haha the students are fine, relatively obedient. Lol I never knew sec1 math is so easy..they are learning how to solve equations now.

On wednesday it was healthy eating day. As usual, the PTA was selling sushi and yami yoghurt in the canteen. Hmm I think the price was quite high, $1.40 for the sushi and $2 for yoghurt. The yoghurt was more worth it since the serving was quite alot. There were external vendor selling vinegar, nuts and honey in the staff room also. Oh yeah..and a free bottle of drink for all teachers. Haha so nice right!

Then today school only started at 10.30. The half day off is due to the excellent year 6's PW results. They did so much better than us..jealous lol.

Haix..the more I stay in RV the more I miss being a student there. I really miss lesson time..sitting there and listen to the teachers talk seems like a comfort now. I don't mind sitting in for any tutorials..even GP, I will gladly sit down and listen to Mr Wee talk about anything :( Haha I saw Mr Chua's table. He vandalised his cupboard heavily with stapler bullets and his name. Lol he is really a unique person. Why isn't he still in RV? Sad...

I am going to teach in RV! Haha and this time its not 3 days, its for a month. This means I can stop looking for a job and this shall last me until uni starts and its what I like and want also. Wahahaha lady luck must me shining on me today :D

I still have hope, since I received the email..shall pray hard that I get it :D

The swimming complex at jurong is nice! So fun lol..though I didn't learn how to swim. Yeah..just go there to have fun. I discovered a healthier way of eating McWings, that is to eat it using knife and fork instead of hands :)

Yays..i am happy today! Have been waiting for today for so long...

We ate lots of nice food today. Had jap food at Ishi Mura, then Gong cha, Ben and Jerry's free cone, and steamboat buffet :D Though we were not very hungry when we ate steamboat, we still ate quite abit. Lol that kimchi soup base is so spicy that we only put food into it once. We made our own rojak also, and it tasted not bad.

Sanctum is nice! The starting was abit boring I think..but once they enter the water its like so exciting, and also because I like water :) But its scary to watch people die underwater and having to kill one another in order to survive. Haha and I didn't realise its a NC16 movie until the show ended.

Why must it rain? Ahh..I think its always raining at nice places, which is not good :x

I went for glitter boy's Passing Out Parade at The float @ Marina Bay today. The morning scenery at marina bay is as nice as the night scenery :)

We waited for quite awhile before the parade started. Haha its like impossible to recognise anyone from the mass of green, everyone looks the same. I think the only interesting part of the parade was the marching in and people falling out lol. At first I thought that marching in song was funny, but now I like it! :D I think 3 people fell out, and they were carried away by stretchers :/

After the march past I thought it ended already, but then they came out again, this time without rifle and wearing cap instead of helmet. Haha they performed something for us which I forgot whats it called..lol very funny to watch them do that. The last part was throwing their cap into the air. Woah..this part I could really feel the excitement and happiness in the atmosphere.

I felt really proud of you when I first saw you. The sweaty and sunburnt face, the sweaty shirt and the heavy backpack on your shoulder. You completed your BMT course! Continue to jiayou :D

Aww..some bad news from my uncle. I hope that he will be fine..

After the 3 days I am more determined to be a RV teacher! I went back to RV to teach sec3 math for the last 3 days. Hmm..I didn't feel much until the 3 days ended.

First day was totally stress, transforming from a student to a teacher. I felt so out of place in the staff room, the teachers walking around and speaking to each other and me sitting there with nothing to do. My first day at lessons wasn't good too. I was too stress, so just write answers on the board and thought they were self explanatory :x Then I couldn't answer some of their questions.

2nd day was much better, didn't felt as stress, and I was able to explain to them the steps. Then there was this student who wanted me to give them more questions to do. I didn't have any questions on hand, and he told me to think of a difficult question on the spot since I am a teacher. Didn't know what to answer so just ignore..then he said after A levels everything forget liao..ignores again >< There seems to be this generation gap between us and the younger juniors. RVians to us generally means guai1 students who will study and do their work. But to the juniors they think RVians are naughty? I realised this when I told the class I was from RV and this student ask me since I was RVian then why I so guai1. Yes, RVians are becoming more outspoken, but this what they always want which is good.

On the 3rd day, I felt even more like a teacher :) I actually helped them to revise for their test this friday. Lol..I gave them some time to do a question from Amath TB, then in the end I couldn't get the answer. So i pretended that I know how to do and asked for volunteers to do. Being a teacher involves pretending to know when you actually don't know :p I answered many of their questions based on common sense and experience..so I hope I don't teach them wrong stuff :/

Coincidentally, the teacher I am reliefing for is a SJAB teacher. I saw the SJAB photos and schedule for April at her desk. SJAB is going for OCIP to Cambodia, and they are trying to raise funds now. They set up Frolick in the canteen which was quite popular, saw long queues. Then some seniors were selling handmade baskets and postcards in the staff room. Oh yea..and coincidentally, one of the students in my class is a comp team leader. I saw them training footdrill in the morning. I found out from her that RVSJ won champion for all categories in zone comp. Excellent! Maybe the juniors are really doing better now, which is good :) Good luck for Nat comp this Sunday!

Okay, I think the working environment as a RV teacher is very good. I like the staff room :) Feels homely and nice and high class.

Woah..went through so many changes in mood today. Shan't elaborate much since the final mood isn't a very good one. I went back to RV today, as a relief teacher :) Imagine how I felt when I first stepped onto the stairs through general office, and up to the staff room. I remember telling myself that one day, one of the tables in the staff room will be mine. Its coming true! Haha at least its mine for 3 days lah. Nvm, shall work hard towards my goal. Hmm I think the staffroom looks nice, but not much privacy for the teachers as compared to those at HPPS. The design is really open, like you can see whats everybody doing. And I saw Ms Lee! Haha she looked shocked to see my in the staff room. Talked abit and she told me I can ask her when I need help :) Why do I think that sec3 maths is so hard. I am trying to do their ws on indices and I had to keep referring to the solutions :x

I was watching fancams of Jungmin's fanmeet yesterday. I am so jealous of those fans who hugged and took pictures with him. Somehow I feel that Jungmin has changed, different from the one I see in SS501. Yes, maybe more mature since he is on solo now. Cannot be as kiddy and playful in SS501 when there are 5 people to share the work. He said he wants to be a nice guy that everyone wants to hug and not so much of being sexy and charismatic. Haix..the boys are really becoming more mature :(

After that I listened to SS501 songs and some videos. I miss those times..really. Seeing the 5 of them on stage together, singing, having fun and playing around. Please please..I want a SS501 comeback stage.

Park Jung Min!

Woohoo..I saw Jung Min again today! Its from a much further distance than on thurs, but for a longer period of time! Hee I went to the autograph session at square2. I actually went alone leh..shows how much I like him :D

I reached at 2+ and the crowd wasn't as much as I thought it will be. Then I walked around and saw the merchandise they were selling. I wanted that PJM bag, but its only on sale tmr :( I was quite tempted to buy the ticket for the autograph session..luckily I didn't have enough money for that :p

After walking around, there were much more people standing. Hee Jungmin is a punctual artiste. I think he came at around 3, didn't make us wait. He is just so cuteeee and friendly..our sexy charisma Mal <3 Even the host noticed his favourite expression "pout" There were aunties there too lor, and they even brought stools/boxes to stand. There was one standing infront of me..blocked my view. We sang Jungmin a birthday song since his birthday is on april 3 :D

The autograph session took about 45min..artistes have good hand stamina lol. After that he just waved to all the fans, above, below, left and right and said he will come back to Singapore again. If the 5 of them come to singapore together, I will definitely buy the ticket.

Yesterday was super eventful :D

In the morning I went to sentosa with Mel ssi for a picnic. I thought that it will be a bad day for outdoor activities since it was raining. But it was only drizzling at sentosa, and we found a nice cozy shelter to sit so it was alright. We brought lots of food and snacks, then just sat to chat and observe people around us hahaha. We tried to look for that bridge which links to the southernmost part of Singapore or something..and we only found out that we were at the wrong beach after asking the liveguard lol. We ended the sentosa trip by visiting resorts world.

I also had my first tuition lesson after the picnic. The student lives in the same block as me, so I just have to take the lift down..so convenient! The lesson was okay i guess. I am trying to think of a more systematic way of teaching her. Yes, I think being systematic helps, especially for P6.

After tuition I went out to meet Melissa again! Hahaha we went to see Jungmin's arrival at the airport. It was quite last minute coz I thought he will only come today. Ahh..Jungmin! We saw Jungmin! Lynette, are u jealous? :p He didn't make us wait very long. Jungmin is a nice idol..he kept smiling and waving as he walked out. He even continued to wave after he was inside the van. I saw a fancam just now showing Jungmin actually made a "I <3 u" animation on his iphone and flashed it as he walked out..so sweeeettt :D I think there were a few seconds when we were just about 1 metre away from him *screams* Both of us tried to video him, but only Melissa succeeded :x I must have been too excited..I thought the camera caught him, but when I checked later it was all shaky -.- Hee Jungmin really looks good ^.^

I went to NUS with Vengyi today to crash lectures. Haha what an interesting experience. We went for the Chem lecture first. Not bad, feels about the same as a normal chem lecture. Its organic chem, so we know the terms that the lecturer said. We felt so stressed that they will know we are "crashers". Lol I think the students knew we are fake lah, but good thing they didn't expose us or anything. Its a 2 hours lecture, but there was a short break and the lecture ended around 15min early! So not too bad :D

After that we were quite hungry, but the canteen at FoS was so crowded. We walked around, trying to look for other food courts. Haha I think we almost toured the whole of NUS..on foot! As we were walking, quite a few people asked us for directions..haha not bad uh..we look like real NUS students xD In the end we ate at the Food Junction, and the vendors charged us student price hee so nice :D

We went to the central library too..but need to tap the student card to go in, and of coz we failed to go in. The next lecture we planned to crash was Sociology. We went in and sat at the last row..nobody really noticed us lah. I think the students from FASS look different from those from FoS. Really can see the difference between arts and science students one lor. The food court at FASS looks so much nicer than the one at FoS! ><

The lecture was supposed to start at 2pm, but the lecturer only came in at 2.30pm. We thought the lecturer really do not have a sense of punctuality..but who knows..it turned out to be a lecture test O.O He flashed the instructions on the screen, and we found out they are gonna start a test. We panicked and ran out of the LT. Haha everybody must have realised that we are crashers :/ Then we tried looking for other lectures to crash at FASS but we found no LT suitable.

Omg..I saw Mr Chua and his wife this morning! They were eating at some coffeeshop near Lot1 and they looked like they just went for morning excercise. Haha..I felt like jumping out of the bus to say hi. So sad that he didn't see me waving on the bus :(

Had fun looking through info, injecting printer with ink, watching ppl cutting hair, doing p6 science MCQs, watching someone sleep, packing field pack...

My teaching attachment ended. Looking back, these 6 weeks seem really short. I felt quite glad at first, that this attachment is really ending and I won't need to feel stressed out by these children again. But on the last day, the emotions changed. I can't bear to leave, the children are just so innocent and pure, no matter how naughty they are. I was so touched by the little cards they made for me, showing how they really appreciated my teachings. That washed away all the bad memories when they made me angry.

This week the children had their CA1 tests. I sat in to observe both the English and Math test. I do not quite agree with the way my mentor conducted the Math test. Before the paper started, she actually went through question by question with the class and told them to highlight the key words. I don't know if other teachers do that with their class too or is it agreed among the teachers that they can do that. I thought that maybe these children are still young, so they need this kind of guidance. Then she also gave the class extra 10 minutes to finish the paper and told them to skip certain questions which are difficult. I think this is not fair to be made into a test which is counted into the report book results.

My teaching supervisor arranged for me to observe 2 lessons with the P6 since I am more interested in teaching in secondary school. The P6 class is more mature in their behaviour, but when they were having fun at the physics playground for lesson, I still saw the child-like side of them. They may be 12 years old, but still, they are children who needs reminders from teachers to guide them along.

From what I have experienced these few weeks, I think it is quite difficult for a teacher not to have favourites. As humans, there will definitely be certain pupils who will get more of your attention and those who do not or are extremely naughty that you can't help, but dislike them. Maybe it is okay to have certain favourites, but just do not show it explicitly so that there will not be any unhappiness among the students in class.

I taught the Brownies First Aid yesterday also. They seems really interested in it and had lots of fun during the practical session. Haha I want to be in charge of a UG cca when I become a teacher :D

It is really heartwarming seeing how they said "Thank you Ms Choo" to me, this is an experience I will not forget.

Today went to NUS open house with FAC. The talks are really quite boring and do not give the kind of info that most of us are looking for, like the content of the course etc. But I think NUS is really where I wanna go.

After that we went to Kbox. It was raining so heavily that our feets were all wet. And the room is so cold.. Haha I had fun singing with FAC..as usual, our outings are great! :D

Today is Mel ssi's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY :D
We went to TWG at Marina Bay Sands yesterday. Ate nice food and drank nice tea. I ordered Tokyo-Singapore tea which tastes sweet and refreshing and Ocean crepe. Lol I like the veggie and the sauce more than the salmon actually. We shared dessert and Alfonso ice-cream is so delicious hehe.

I want to stay in MBS hotel just for 1 day! Shall do it when I feel rich hahaha

I felt relieved when my mentor came back on Monday. The class is finally back in control again. There is really a difference in behaviour when the form teacher is around. Sometimes I really wonder whether is it my class management skills that are bad or is it that students are just like that; not bothering much about new teachers and only scared of experienced teachers.

This week I started a new Math topic on Time. Time seems easy, but it is quite difficult to explain to the children and get them to understand. Some parts of my explanation is not really clear I think, my mentor had to interrupt me to give a better explanation to the children. Their common test is next week, and I hope that they do well for Math since I taught them 2 topics. I will feel bad if they didn't do well due to my inexperienced teaching :x

I did 2 science experiments with them this week. The children are really keen on doing experiments. The first experiment involved them going around the school to measure temperature. The second experiment could have been better if the visualiser worked. I was supposed to show them how volume of hot water can affect how fast an egg gets cooked under the visualiser. But since there was technical problems, I could only get them to gather around me. As the class was quite big, naturally, some children could not see and just got left out. I tried to involve them by getting those who have seen to go back to their seats and make space for those at the back.

Results day came. Okay, nothing much to say about my results. Normal. Hopefully I can get moe scholarship..really wants it.

RV did well..excellent results for a pioneer batch of IP students. Really felt very proud to be a RVian, and everyone was clapping and cheering as the good results were announced. I love RV and I want to go back there again...

This is a really busy and tiring, yet enjoyable week for me. Mainly its school and the late sleeping time thats making me so tired. Enjoyable because I really felt happy going out with my friends.

Other than Math, I am also taking over the class's Science lessons now. My mentor was absent from Wednesday to Friday, so I had to take over the class. Arghh..those 3 days I saw them becoming little demons. I feel like I am fighting a war when I am in class :x

Coz their form teacher wasn't there, they made lots of noise and kept walking about in class. Wednesday I was so angry with them that I threw the marker on the floor while writing halfway. Omg..didn't know I will do that. But I better dun do that again, it made me quite worried. What if teachers are not allowed to throw stuff? Then I'll get blacklisted by moe. Can see that they were quite scared after that. But hor..just 30min later and they will return back to usual :/

Thursday was still quite fine. There is a boy in class who is very naughty. Some of the kids told me that he is a pervert..omg. Luckily he only comes back to the class for SS.. Then there is this other boy who is quite naughty also. He keeps talking and walking and even run in class. There were twice that I made him get out of the class to stand outside. I think he was angry at me for doing that. But when he came in, I felt abit sad for him. He is still a nice boy, he answers my questions and do pay attention in class..so made me felt bad for sending him out. Then there is this girl whom I think is very lazy and dun pay attention in class. She seats at the door side of the class, so its far from the teacher's table. Its hard to make her pay attention since she isn't in my view most of the time. She didn't finish up her work and dare to hand in those blanks to me. When I called her up to question her she just keep her mouth shut tight and didn't reply me. Pissed..

Friday was the worst. I thought I am gonna lose my voice..like competing with them to see who can speak louder -.-

I got a chance to teach a P6 class for Health Education, and I realised that it is easier and more fun to teach these P6 students. They felt more friendly and some girls saw the back of my file has K pop stuff and asked me if I am a K pop fan..lol so funny right.

Hee I received a bouquet of flowers on friday..felt so embarrassed. Don't buy flowers again kay..

Yesterday was great! Watched movie, ate sweet lunch, replaying that day, went to Marina Barrage, met FAC, had fun taking photos, ate at Xin Wang, chat. Haha its really enjoyable to be out with FAC again. Catching up with each other and reminising the past when we were in SJAB. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Kyu Jong oppa! Ahh..I feel like a bad fan. I haven't been reading up about them regularly anymore. I guess the passion is gradually fading.. But still, I will call myself a Triple S! I took quite some time to find this recent picture of Kyu Jong..didn't save pictures of them for very long already.

Anyway, uri JungMinnie is coming to Singapore from 18-20 March! Woots! I can see another SS501 member again! Hee was looking at Planethyun blog, and I realised JungMin and HyungJoon have the most updates. Well..they are involved in more activities bah. I felt some passion for SS501 coming back when I saw those mersmerising photos of them :p I miss being a SS501 fanatic :x

I shall update about school at the end of the week. Yesterday was bad..really lost my temper. Tmr will be a busy day..no breaks at all from 830 to 1. Then CCA after that. Ahh..hope I have the energy to finish all the lessons in one shot. I feel better in the staff room now. Used to dread it coz I have nothing to do and will just sit there and stone, otherwise pretending to do something when teachers walked past. But now..I have lots of things to mark, and have to think through what to do for lessons and the teachers are more friendly towards me now :)

I felt quite pissed today when I found out that I am the only one who didn't get my thumb print done. Everyday waiting for people to open the door for me. They have it the day they came, and me? Hello..its been 3 weeks. No proper desk with name that I have to keep the books with my mentor in case someone takes it. And if not for them, I won't have my name on the desk now. No drawers for me to lock stuff that I have to take valuables with me all the time. All saved for them, even before they came. I am not complaining about these new ppl but THAT one hmph!

Today I realised how precious water is and its importance. There was not water in my house this morning..my mum was washing stuff halfway when the water stopped. I just woke up and since there was no water, I couldn't wash up. Lol I used boiled water and ice! We asked our neighbours and they said there was no water on thursday night too. So I called PUB and they said we need to wait for 2hours for the men to come down to check and do necessary repairs. Arghh..so there was only water at 11. Its really a luxury to have clean water at the turn of the tap. Imagine people living in areas with no clean water..they have to walk a long distance to carry water back to their house. And that is a limited amount of water. We should conserve water!

Went to shop today! Hee loves shopping and trying on clothes. Satisfied with my purchases today :D

From this week onwards, I am officially teaching the class that I am attached to. I started with teaching Fractions this week, and next week I will be starting on Heat Energy as well. These 2 are actually new topics, so I am starting fresh instead of taking over from someone's work, which makes things easier for me.

On Monday, which was my first lesson on Fractions, I had trouble catching the attention of the students at the side and at the back. I realised they were not paying attention, as when I randomly picked students to answer questions, they could not answer me. I was quite unhappy with their inattentiveness. However, after the lesson, my teacher mentor told me that the children were restless today because my lesson was the last lesson of the day and after that, they have a trip to Kampong Glam. These resulted in their short attention span. On that afternoon, I accompanied the class to Kampong Glam. This was my first time bringing children out, and I must say its not a bad experience. They are very lively children who have a lot of curiosity about the place. Like all children, they love toys, and many of them bought some traditionally toys. It was not easy trying to ensure that all the children are following the group. Especially during free time, I was worried that some of them may wonder off as it was quite crowded there.

I observed the difference in the students' attentiveness when Math was not the last lesson. They were more eager to answer questions, even though there were still a handful who needed reminders. For Tuesday's lesson, I actually did not plan enough work for the lesson which resulted in me not knowing what to do for the last 10 minutes of the lesson. Luckily my mentor was there to support me and gave me tips on how to continue with the lesson.

From Wednesday's lesson, I realised that teaching really comes with experience. I was teaching the children how to convert improper fractions to mixed numbers. I used pizzas to illustrate that. After the lesson, my mentor actually told me that the method I taught is too factual and is not realistic for problem solving. She taught me her method of teaching which I felt will be much clearer for the students. I am really thankful to have such a nice mentor who is willing to teach and guide me :)

On Thurday, I got a last minute notice that my mentor is on medical leave, and I have to take the class myself. Although this is not the first time I am doing that, I was quite panicky in the morning when I heard the news. There was lesson during the first period and I was not prepared at all. I was running around the school, getting worksheets printed and finding the materials that I need for lessons. But I felt that I did better than last week..yays! Then at night I went to MOE for a tea session on teaching scholarships. It was quite a fruitful trip there, clarified some of my doubts and those inspirational stories really made me want to teach.

There were no lessons on Friday as the school had their swimming carnival. I was in charge of the Brownies; making sure that they carried out their duties. The sun was freaking hot and it kept shifting it direction of light..the teachers were like changing seats to avoid the sun lol. This is the first time I visited a swimming pool since sec 2! Actually I really like swimming..but I don't know how to :x

I went to watch Its a Great Great World today. The movie is not bad..but almost 95% of the dialogues are in dialects. Likes cantonese the most haha.

This is the most terrible day I had so far..had some encounters with not very pleasant students. Due to the lack of teachers that day, I was told to do relief teaching. The first class I went to was supposed to be having PE. The children asked me to bring them down and they are happy even just to run a few rounds (lol this is so different from how older kids like us behave in school). But I was told to let them do their own work and furthermore, I am not a PE teacher. So I was quite firm and said no, and instructed them to do their own stuff. Like all kids, they start talking and going to their friends' seats. I think I was quite fierce, and raised my voice to make sure they keep quiet. So unlike me to be fierce right? Haix..then I overheard them saying "this relief teacher sucks". Aww..so hurtful. I told myself not to be affected, but who doesn't when you hear that you suck :( After that period I went back and thought about what I can do with the next class that I am relieving. I thought of playing hangman or other games to entertain them.

Haha! But this next class was not as obedient as the previous class. Totally rowdy and noisy and refused to listen to me no matter how I shout. They cheered when I enetered the class coz it means their teacher is not here. I was told to give them their homework, and since they can't quieten down, I wrote the instructions on the board. Then the angry thing happened, after I turned my back, some boys went to erase what I wrote on the board. I was so angry! I gave them the angry stare and told the class "Its not my problem if you cannot finish your work, and its your problem if your teacher scolds you for that" Then some kids started copying me and say its your problem. I give up, its really not my problem, I am just that for 30min. But I was still nice to those who really started doing their work and asked me questions. Then another incident happened which made me more angry. I was already outside the classroom, at the corridor. There were alot of kids there, I think preparing to go to their MT lesson. Then this boy from the class next door came and asked me "will you marry me?" It was very noisy and I was irritated, so I asked "yes?", wanting him to repeat his question. Who knows he took my answer as "yes" and started shouting to the students around "teacher said yes!" I heard that and turned around, realising what he asked me, I was super angry. The most shuang3 part was scolding him. I think I made him scared, coz I took down his name and class before leaving. Wahaha..don't you try to bully me! Hmph! Students these days are terrible.

When I went back to my class, my teacher mentor got me to give the class speed mental sums to do. They are to complete 60 simple multiplication qn in 5min. Hmm..the results prove that it is a great challenge for them. Hardly anyone finished the work.

The next day my teacher mentor let me conduct a science experiment with her class. Its an experiment investigating whether air has volume. Not bad, it was quite fun. I marked their activity book after that and realised that even after going through the answers, some students still gave the wrong answer. This made me thought that I had lost their attention halfway. I believe that with experience, I will do better! :D

Today my teacher mentor was on medical leave. She gave me instructions and I took the class for her lessons that day. Had the whole class to myself! The first lesson was a maths test. Hee I was the invigilator! Lol..kids really have lots of questions, and they can even ask about the question in the test -.- Then there was an incident in which some boys were singing a song and this irritated the girls. It caused some quarrels and unhappiness within that group. I did not really know what to do or what punishment to give. So I resorted to explaining to them what they have done wrong and gave verbal warnings. The song they were singing was peacock by Katy Perry. Arghh..these kids really know more than me.

Today when my teacher mentor came back for work, she hasn't fully recover yet, and was unable to speak. She told me to be "her voice" today. In class, she gave me instructions as to what to do, and I was the one telling the students what to do. It was better than the previous day, as my teacher mentor's presence made controlling the class easier for me. I taught the class about fossils, and I really love teaching. Seeing the students' eagerness to learn and find out really encouraged me, and made me felt that I really taught them something they like. In the afternoon I attended the Parent-Teacher Meeting and gave a speech on behalf of my teacher mentor. I was quite nervous as I have never given such a long speech, and the audience were parents. My usual problem..I was speaking too fast :x But I think the parents can see that I am a trainee teacher and was tolerant of my not-so-good presentation. After the sharing session, some parents also came forward for short chats. This really made me felt like a teacher; someone who knows her students and parents eager to find out how their child behaves in school. Haha! One mother actually told me her boy told her that I am fierce! Woots..so happy to hear that! After this PTM, I also felt that my relations with my colleagues became closer. Hee..feels happy! :DDD I like my class..the kids are so cute!

Maomao is officially a NSmen now. Went for the tour of the BMTC today. Woah..there were many more visitors as compared to the enlistees. The journey to tekong is so long. Had to sit bus all the way to the ferry terminal then sit the ferry to the island itself. Maomao left us when we reached tekong..so I went for the tour with maomao's family. Haha didn't feel as stress as I usually will.

We sat on the bus for the touring of the training grounds. Hmm..i wonder how NSmen stand the heat. The army uniform has long sleeve and long pants, and the sun is freaking hot :x We toured the bunks too. There are 16 people in one room, its double decker beds and each person get a wardrobe. Lol that tour guide was telling us that the mattress is 8 inch thick and very comfortable, as good as king-koil. Then they said the pillows are soft and squashy. Ahh..they are just trying the scam the parents into thinking that their sons are not having a hard time in there. Oh..he said they can use the vending machines there, so give them more coins. But when maomao came back he said they were told that the vending machines are not for them!

We waited for 1 hour at the largest canteen (they kept announcing that -.-) in tekong to go into the audi for the official ceremony. We watched a video about BMT. Haha I see why girls are not required to join army. The activities are just not suitable for most girls. Then there was a speech by an officer. The officer actually asked the enlistees a question, and I was surprised when they answered "yes sir!" so loudly! They only left us for 2 hours and they can give such loud replies..shows the power of army right. Then we saw them take the vow and then we sang the national anthem.

Finally after the ceremony, maomao joined us. So happy to see maomao! We were provided with lunch in the cook house. The food is not bad, but I hope the standard is like that everyday. Haha they were playing lady gaga's song in the cook house, interesting.. But the meal time wasn't very long, enlistees were called to fall in quite soon. So maomao had to leave :(

Thats the end of the tour. Took ferry then bus before reaching pasir ris. Haha I like maomao's car, so big!

I hope maomao will do fine in BMTC..will see you again very soon! Jiayou! Hwaiting!

OMG..and my teacher mentor just called me to say that she will be on MC tmr. Which means...I have to take the class on my own tmr! Feels nervous and excited. Somemore they have a maths test tmr, I am gonna be an invigilator! I shall update more about my teaching experience this weekend..monday was totally so bad..

1st week of attachment

This is my first week of school attachment. Generally okay. I havent got to teach yet, now is just the observation period for me. So I'll just sit at the back of the class observing lessons. But my teacher mentor has already given my topics which I have to do lesson plan for. I have no idea how to teach P4 kids about fractions and heat energy..argh. Please tag if anyone have any idea :/

I attended a meeting with the P4 teachers on monday. There is seriously alot of planning and logistics to be done behind every school program. So students, better appreciate and take all school programs seriously, don't waste your teachers' effort. Teachers are humans too, they are not all serious and fierce in reality. In the staffroom they can behave like kids sometimes lol. That made me imagine my own teachers acting childish in the staffroom hahaha. *imagines Mr Chua teasing Ms Lee* LOL

My class is quite a noisy and naughty class. Saw them doing all the naughty and kiddy things lol. Hope they dun make my first lesson screwed :x But still, they are cute and innocent 10 year olds :) When I sit at the back, I really thought back of my own school life, and I miss RV :( Oh ya..and they really sing the national anthem and say the pledge out LOUDLY..like seriously loud. Haha different culture of showing patriotism.

I got to enjoy the CNY celebrations today. The kids are really super active and noisy. Their screams can cause ear damage lol. If I remember correctly, we weren't that noisy in pri school. And they get all excited when there are quizzes or the performers go down the stage. They start standing and looking around. Teachers had to stand up now and then to maintain order. A girl gave me a red packet with snacks! Aww..i am quite touched. Its only my 3rd day and she regards me as a teacher :) The teachers had to go on stage for sing-along session and the principal was giving out oranges to the teachers. Haha when I say teachers, that includes me lol. First time experiencing this kind of thing. Felt quite embarrassed when going up the stage, since I am so new.

I went JP alone today..had to look for a belt. Haha saw a lot of RVians. I miss those days..seriously. Was looking out for familiar faces, especially teachers. Ha! guess who I saw. Mr Lum! But I didn't say hi lah, not his student anyway. It would have been wonderful if I saw Ms Lee. I wanna be a student again! :'(

Chinese New Year is here. Wishing all a HAPPY and PROSPEROUS rabbit year! I read that this year is not bad for the monkeys..so look forward to good events! :D

At ease

After yesterday, I think I can finally put my heart at ease and concentrate on doing other things. Its good to hear that I am recovering :)

I went to meet my teacher supervisor yesterday. Henry Park pri isn't exactly near my house, so have to get up early like before from now on. I thought that she is the one that I'll be following around in school, but actually she assigned me to shadow another teacher, Ms Wong. I will be attending lessons in a P4 class. Shouldn't be too bad, P4 is just the right level. Not too young and not too teenager-like.

Then today we went for the NTU talk. Haha I think the speaker for CBC is good at promoting their course. I am quite interested in NTU's CBC now, with the best chemistry building in the world! Hmm..we shall see. We sat in for the MOE talk too. Seems like its not very good to immediately sign up for BA/BSc program, since it doesn't allow me to teach in JC. Haha nvm, we shall see again.

After that we went to eat at Astons. The food is nice and affordable. Lets go there to eat again :) We walked around the fountain of wealth too..haha its been like dunno how many years since the last time I went there to make a wish. Didn't know where to go after that, and I decided to go to MBS. Had the idea of going there again when I went there for the first time. Hee we sat the sampan ride. Its a nice experience. First boat ride with maomao :)

Wants to kill all the flu virus..stop infecting people! ><

Ahh..feels abit nervous for monday. I hope the children will be nice little angels :)

TAP training

I went for the TAP training program for the past 2 days. Haha the first day was so stressful, especially before the course started. Lucky maomao volunteered to go with me..gave me confidence! :D

Made some new friends there and people are generally friendly. The teacher is a retired principal who has lots of experience in teaching. Basically, we just sit in groups and listen to him talk and sometimes there will be group work. Lol..i think our group is the most talkative.

There are 3 breaks a day. Tea break, lunch and one more tea break. There food is not bad and most importantly, its free! Lol i am so cheapskate. The breaks are highly looked forward to by everyone.

The 2nd day each group had to write a lesson plan and then choose one person to conduct the lesson. We can choose to teach any subject, any topic at any level. Our group taught living and non-living things. Haha sounds familiar? We learnt that in pri3. Taahira was our group's representative. I think she makes a good teacher with all the good tone that kids will like. There were others who chose to teach higher level stuff and hence they sound more firm and serious.

When the 2nd day ended, I think everyone felt quite bonded or what, coz we started taking photos, and the teacher became some celebrity that everyone wanna take photos and shake hands with LOL.

I have never felt so busy for so long, those 2 days were my busiest since A levels lol. Can see how much I slacked for the past 2 months. Gonna officially start my attachment on monday, and I hope it really won't make me feel too busy or stress. If not I can't take the sudden change in lifestyle! :/

Haven been blogging for quite some time...

Finally met up with Mel ssi on thurday. We had a good time catching up with each other. Heard lots of interesting stories from her. Haha we should be seeing each other again this Sunday! :D Rmb to bring the cat along!

Yesterday was RV's 55th anniversary, and I went for the carnival. I suddenly thought of saying this..Happy Birthday RV! I seriously love RV alot..I felt like I was back home when I stepped into the school yesterday. I wanna go back to school again, its where I should belong :(
The carnival was not bad..game stalls and food stalls. Haha we only played one game and didn't try alot of food also. The performances were great! Love those Kpop dances. RV has talented Kpop dancers..woohoo!

Wanted to go find Ms Lee..but didn't see her around in school. I saw Mr Chua though, he was eating at the dinner in the hall when we left. Its so sad that he didn't see me, even though I stood outside for quite some time looking around at familiar teachers. So sad..my idol :/

Don't know why I have been dreaming alot recently. Usually I don't remember my dreams, but I dreamt of my A level results ytd..and it felt quite real. Oh no..what I dreamt isn't very good. Really don't want this kind of results. When I say not very good, its really not very good. The 1st thing I saw was D for GP. Somehow we got back our scripts also, and the examiner wrote harsh comments on my essay and red ink was flying all over. What a nightmare :x

A new year is here again. This is definitely a year of new beginnings since I am no longer a schooling student. Haha it feels weird to know that I'll not be returning to school for lessons.

The past few days were fun and eventful. Finally went out with my friends ever since I came home from hospital :) We went to party world on thursday. First time going to ktv, as usual, I was abit stress. Lol..the one at vivo is so popular that there were no rooms. Good thing I suggested trying the Little India branch..just thought that not many people will go there :p We took the 4hours package. That may sound quite long, but actually isn't! Didn't wanna leave when the 4 hours were up. We spent quite some time figuring out where and how to choose the songs. Woots..I like karaoke! :D

Spent the last day of 2010 with laoniang :) We went to clarke quay first..wanted to eat ice cream by the river. But too bad it was raining so had to stay indoors. We didn't really wanna shop, so it was boring at Central. Haha they were giving out free candy floss and balloons, so we went to take the candy floss too. That guy spinning the sweet is abit weird :/ But the candy floss is nice anyway.

We decided to go look for middle niang since we are so bored..wanted to surprise her. So we took MRT to promenade and walked to Marina Bay Sands. Woah..the scenery is really nice there. We were so near the floating platform and walked the helix bridge. Maybe coz its my first time there, I think MBS is really very nice! Feels quite different from Resorts World. This one looks more like a shopping centre. We saw middle niang, she was busy. So sad..she didn't look surprised or happy when she saw us :( Haix..was abit hurt that she didn't even say hi when we went in to eat. Nah..she is busy, thats why. I wanna go MBS again! And I wanna sit the sampan ride :D

After that was countdown cum sleepover at little niang's house. The atmosphere changed when the clocked striked 12. We saw fireworks from 3 different places up in the sky. My neighbours were all screaming out of their windows. "HAPPY 2011!" Haha I was feeling high and shouted too. Seems like this new house is not bad! Love the scenery and the multi-purpose window. We ended the day with masks and chats. The sleepover concluded with laoniang accompanying me to cut hair lol.

Shall make some new year resolutions..though I seldom do that.

1. Learn Korean(provided I can find a suitable language centre)
2. Learn how to play guitar from teacher chan :D
3. Complete the Teaching Attachment Program and hopefully get offered a teaching scholarship
4. Do relief teaching/ tuition

6. Maintain the human relations that I treasure
7. Travel overseas
8. Stay healthy and happy
Thats all that I can think of for now :)

The next few days will be lonely..nobody can come and keep me occupied. Shall do my homework and play Maple! Haha I have maple in my com again!

Life has been boring for me..staying at home everyday and watching tv. Haha I always had this thought during exams last time that after exams are over, I'll find time to sit down infront of the tv for the whole day. Just to enjoy the feeling of watching random shows and browsing through the channels. But now I think I've had enough of this kind of experience.

Got 2 news chairs from grandma's house. I am sitting on one now, and why does it make me sweat so much :/ Think the backing is too high, prevents the wind from blowing at me. Lol..seriously too bored that I am blogging about a chair.

Watching 2 Korean dramas now, Will it snow for christmas and Playful Kiss. The storyline for Will it snow for christmas is really abit dramatic, and abit slow and sad. Playful kiss is more funny..arghh..but kim hyun joong isn't making me mesmerised with him. Sad to say, my passion for SS501 is decreasing :( Must have drifted apart with my daily dose during A levels. Maybe its also due to them doing solo activities, which interest me alot less. Heard that JungMinnie and HyungJoonie will be releasing their solo album next year..looking forward to it :) Alright, I am still a Triple S okay.

Was reading blogs just now, and I found quite an interesting blog to read..let me found out more stuff about this person. Oh no..I am becoming such a busybody. Haha but I dun deny that I like to read stuff about others.

Gonna have a countdown sleepover with SSIs at my house on 31st :DDD But mel ssi can only join us at night :( But still, hope it will be fun. Its been so long since the 3 of us sat down and really had a good chat. Miss those days at starbucks when we talked for so long.

Haix..have been thinking quite alot about school these few days. Guess its coz school is starting soon (not for me though) Shall blog more about my thoughts for school when school starts.

Unforgettable experience

I am back! Yes, I am back after the operation and is now resting at home. Its my first time going for operation, so shall just record my experience here.

13/12/10
Admitted into KKH on 13dec. Didn't get the corner bed that I like..haha I think I kept throwing tantrums at the hospital. But I am sick mah, that should be a good enough excuse :p At around evening I was made to drink laxative. Need to clear bowels before the op. Omg..that laxative is super yucky. I bet its saltier than sea water. Thinking about it now reminds me of the horrible taste again. Somemore need to drink 2 bottles..eks. Then after a few hours the laxative took effects, and I started going to toilet like mad. Dunno went how many times..and it only stopped after midnight :/

This is the day of operation. Was feeling so hungry before the op, and was thinking of delicious food. But when the nurse came and told me its time to get ready to go down to the OT, I became scared and felt cold. Started trembling, but kept telling myself to calm down. The OT is cold..patients are given socks and blankets. There was this auntie who was also waiting for the op. So she asked my religion. Haha she is buddhist too, so she chanted this chant super fast. Couldn't really catch it, but I did feel more at ease after that. I was in OT 7, lying on the bed while the doctors and nurses just come in and out of the room. Was feeling quite sleepy, and I fell asleep occassionally and woke up when people came in. My doctor is Doctor Janice Chin. Everyone says she is a very skilful doctor, so good for me :) When the op was gonna start, I was pushed into the real op room, with all the equipments and lights. I think they tried to put the anaesthetic in through the back of my palm. But they poked 2 times and failed coz my veins were too small. So they tried the wrist, which worked. Hmm..I dunno its the injection or the so-called oxygen mask that made me unconscious. So thats all I remember, and when I woke up I was in the recovery room. Didn't occured to me that the op was over until the nurses told me lol. I think the first thing I asked for was water, felt exceptionally dry. It was painful..and somehow my mum came in. Pressed quite alot of morphine. After that was pushed back to the ward. I was quite drowsy, trying to take in the surroundings slowly. Haha I was irritable when I didn't see who I wanna see. The day continued with dizziness and lots of vomitting. Vomitted for the whole night due to the morphine. That made me determined not to press it anymore.

15/12/10
The day after the operation was better. The vomitting stopped since they gave me anti-vomitting injection. Dunno why I was so sleepy and weak, didn't talk much. My visitors were just sitting and standing around watching me sleep. Couldn't help it, wanted to talk but just very sleepy. And my pet went off in a train that night...

16/12/10
Much better that day. The physiotherapist came early and made me sit on the chair. Haha I was practically sitting that day, didn't felt like getting into bed. Didn't sleep too, so I was much able to have a good sleep at night.

17/12/10
Woots..was discharged yesterday. But actually I won't mind staying for 1 more day. They changed the wound dressing to waterproof type before I left. Didn't dare to look at the scar. I didn't look at the photo of the cyst too, don't want these to affect me now. I'll see look at them after I recover. Thankyou to all those who visited me at the hospital, your presence gave me comfort :)

So now I am just resting at home. Sitting around the whole day, watching TV, reading, doing nothing. I hope the wound heals fast, I wanna get out of the house. Haha I just checked my email and I got in for TAP! Yays, thats 1 job secured. :)

Can't wait for you to come back. Miss you so much.. Glitter bird, you must fly back quickly!

I'll be going back to hospital tmr..so won't be blogging for quite some time until I feel well enough.

Frankly speaking, I feel scared, like who won't lah..going for operation. Haix..what must come will come. Trying not to think of pain ><

These few days have been good. Went out with people I wanna spend time with, watched 2 movies, walked around, took photos, smile alot. Lol.

Change of mood

Haha..I was really feeling good when writing the previous post. But now, its like a complete opposite.

Was feeling quite terrible on my way back..kept telling myself that I had to bear with it till I get home and rest. Physically better after some sitting and resting, but I feel so unwell mentally.

Why? Why must this happen to me? What the doctor said are all coming back to my head again. I am still so young, why me?

It hurts to see and hear other people planning outings, to have fun after mugging so hard for A levels. And me? I'll be in the hospital or stuck in the house. If I am lucky, maybe by next year I'll be well again. If not *touches alot of wood*, I really don't know what I'll be doing. Its no good to be the weak and sickly one because people make accomodations for me, which I don't want. I should just be left alone, to go through everything myself. Its my own life anyway.

I know I should stay happy and cheerful, but its hard, really hard. I try to keep myself away from negative thoughts, but what use will that be if I am eating medicine and staying home with nothing on my mind to do, and just waiting for that day to come.

I should start being a loner.

Prom night is finally over! Everything turned out better than I expected, more fun and less stress hahaha. But it ended too quickly, felt like I haven play enough. Totally didn't felt like going home..but no choice :/

Was rushing to get there coz I couldn't get the contacts in, so everything was delayed. I will never wear contacts again, I just fail to master the technique of wearing it. Then there was a massive traffic jam almost everywhere. The taxi uncle said its an unusual jam since it was not a special day. The cab fares turned out to be $30, and it was only $8 when we took cab back again after prom o.O

Haha I think everyone looked good yesterday. Hee..my pet was fantastic! The food is nice too, but I didn't eat much. People started going around taking photos after the first few dishes, so I missed out all the middle dishes. Bleah..can't the waiters leave the food there since its still untouched? What a waste.. The performances and awards given out were entertaining..haha RV has got great dancers.

Woots..so happy that I got to take pictures with Ms Lee and Mr Chua, my 2 favourite teachers. Hahaha and I like what Mr Chua said :D

I think prom cured me, at least for now. Didn't feel any pain, and I could finally sleep straight yesterday, after 1 week of sit sleeping..

Feels happy..am in a good mood :) Alright, I shall not think too much and enjoy the time I have left before the 14th. Everything will be fine :)

Hyun Joong oppa!

Wow..i just watched the fancams of the events when Hyun Joong came to Singapore. There were seriously alot of people at the airport waiting for him, a few thousand people i think. It seemed like there were alot more people than when I went to fetch Lee Min Ho. Wahaha..I feel happy that leader has so many fans =D

And the standee auction during the fansign event! The bids actually went up to thousands..and the final bid for both were $6000++ Leader is worth alot to us! He said he will come again next year to promote his album or for concert..yayssss! Means I will still have a chance to see him ^^

I think I feel better these few days, less pain :) But I am scared of sleeping :x

Going for prom tonight, hope it will be fun and i'll have low stress level.

I just want to be well again

So many things happened and changed these few days..my life is screwed. So many things that I have been waiting for are either postponed or will never happen now. For example, I failed to see Kim Hyun Joong. He is my greatest idol, and its not like he will be in Singapore everytime. Missing this chance is almost equilvalent to missing the chance to see him in my life. Well, at least I heard the atmosphere at Changi when he arrived. Its better than nothing.

I was hospitalised for 4 days. Arghh..i dunno what to say, though i thought alot about what to write down when I am home. When I reached home just now, my house seems so unfamiliar, the dimensions felt different and I felt I haven't touched my stuff for very long.

Thank you to the nurses and doctors at KKH..the nurses were really nice and friendly. Thank to Patricia, the patient opposite my bed, for being such a nice ward mate. I hope you get well soon too. Haha..dunno why I felt like crying when she hugged me before I left. Maybe those that are around you when you are the weakest will leave a deep impression in the heart.

Thankyou to all those who visited me, I really troubled your alot that I feel so bad.

I feel at a lost. What should I do? Everything is uncertain now, and I am afraid of the future.

Please, give me the courage to face everything that comes. I just want to spend more time with those are I love, before the 14th...

Haix..this shouldn't be how A levels should end. I just want to be like any other student that finished their A levels, relaxing and playing like mad. But why am I not given this chance? Yesterday night was really torturous, never felt this bad before. I even said I want to die.

So much money will have to be used, and already been used, which can be used to buy things that I want. Arghhh..why like that? Can last night just be a nightmare? I don't mind taking physics paper 1 again.

Totally not in the mood to do any of the things I planned to do.

I thought I won't blog until A levels are over. Haha but due to a thunderstorm this afternoon, I changed my mind. Just wanna share 2 pictures.

How about looking at this one? It seems as if the rain has stopped and light is shining again.

These 2 photos are actually taken at the same time, just different angles. So whether something is good or bad all depends on how we perceive it. You think the paper is hard? Why not think of those questions that you can do instead of those that you cannot do, it definitely makes you feel as if you actually did secured some marks.

Haha..I didn't take these 2 pictures like that on purpose. Just thought the raindrops look nice and the 2 pictures just happen to turn out like that lol.

Haha..its more than 1 year since I become a SS501 fan already. Young Saeng is the first member I wished happy birthday on my blog..the 2nd cycle is starting hahaa.
Ahh..I feel detached from SS501..didn't go read about them for quite some weeks already :(
Hope Saengie's birthday will be as happy as last year's although SS501 is sort of not together anymore.. Looking forward to seeing them on the same stage again.

Haix..was sick for the past 2 days. What a good time to fall sick :x Hope I will recover fully today!

RVHS Graduation Day 2010

我们真的毕业了。

Well, today is both wonderful and sad. Wonderful because I enjoyed the ceremony, the performance, the video clips and everything. Sad because I don't want to leave.

The day started with all the year 6 gathering in the hall and putting on ties. This is the first time I wore a tie, everyone looked so smart. The whole school was waiting for us for morning assembly, and we ran to the field. Lol..its the last day, and we were still made to run. Then we were briefed about A levels exam rules, before we finally entered grandly into auditorium. When its 6E's turn to go on stage, everyone asked Ms Lee to go for lunch with us while shaking her hand, but in the end, she still didn't go :( It was when standing on the stage, looking down at all the teachers' and my parents' smiling faces did I realised that I have really grown up. I am 18 years old already, no longer a small little girl. Taking A levels in 24 days' time, and entering uni next year. Time really flies...

Teachers, thankyou for putting up such entertaining and meaningful performances for us. I am sure the students will remember you, for all that you have done. Ms Lee said something this week. She said that students are pestering her to help them write reference letters and stuff, but they won't remember them after they leave. Now, I think thats not quite true, at least for me. I will remember all the teachers who have taught me. I am very happy to be able to take photos with Ms Tan, Mr Chua and Mr Quek :) But I am so jealous of their form class who got to hug them! We didn't hug Ms Lee! :[ Shall write a few lines for my teachers here.

Ms Lee Wei Min: A truly dedicated, responsible, fun and cute form teacher. 6E will always remember you, and all the fun times we had together. Its 6E's privilege to have you as our form teacher. Sorry for making you worry and sad for our econs results..6E will do well for econs, because Ms Lee is our econs tutor! I still hope that you will go out with us someday. "If fate permits, may our paths cross again." Lastly, wishing you best of luck in looking for your true love, 美女！ :)

Mr Chua Tung Kian: An approachable and unique teacher. In year4 when you came into 4C to relieve the chem lesson, I thought you were some noob and violent teacher coz you looked young, and you pushed some table violently lol. But when we got to know you in year5, my impression of you totally changed. You made me feel the passion for chem. A wonderful chem teacher, though abit harsh at times, your pep talks always made me realised that I should really study hard. My aim is to be like you, graduate from RV, get a scholarship (hopefully), and come back to RV to teach chem. My role model. :)

Mr Ronnie Quek: An all-rounded, manly and fashionable teacher. Frankly speaking, I prefered Ms Tan to you when you first started teaching us, coz I felt that what you teach is very hard to understand! Meaning chim stuff haha. But after some time, I realised that I like you better, as I adapt to your style of teaching. Physics seems more interesting to me now :) Hee..your clothes are always very nice and specs too! I have lost count of the number of specs you have :p

Ms Tan Peck Ha: A care but don't really care and a not fierce but try to act fierce teacher. I was seriously scared of you when you replaced Mr Lum to teach us in term 2 last year. You seemed to be very strict and have alot of rules. But we realised that your punishment never came! Some students may not like you as much because you are less interactive with the class, but I still like to attend your maths tutorials because I don't feel stress! Best wishes for your new boy! :)

Mr William Wee: A humourous and good teacher. Last year, I really didn't like GP, because I feel so unaware of world affairs and stress that I don't understand what you are talking about. Hmm..but this year it feels different. I am more able to laugh at your jokes and enjoy the lesson, and feel less stress haha. Maybe its because I am more exposed to world affairs now. I hope I can at the very least, get a C for GP. My confidence for GP shall not be decreased because of prelims! For you, I will read more books and continue reading newspapers after A levels!

Ms Tan Ying Ling: A fierce yet friendly and pretty teacher. We were really very scared of you in year5, and I think you didn't know that we will always run for your lessons, so that we will not be late and also grab the back seats. Whenever you asked a question, I will be very scared and look down, hoping the silence will be broken soon. Those were the times when I dread physics. I like the times when you shared with us your past experiences. Maybe your teaching style really don't suit 6E. But towards the end of last year, I started to become fond of you..somehow, I don't know why. Most probably because of your wet look and nice make-up :p

See why I want to be a teacher? Its because of all these. Impacting students' lives and making a difference. Its a career thats challenging, meaningful, fulfilling and extraoradinary. I may not have enough courage to be a teacher now, but because its really my dream and what I want, I will try my best and face all challenges.

Today is the last time we get to sing the school song formally, and I am confident to say that I am very proud to be an RVian, its really my honour. I remember that RV has been my dream school since P5, coz I saw a RVian wearing the pinafore and it looks so nice. The other reason is because RV is a top school. I geuss I am just more used to be in an environment with good results. I was really very happy when I saw my PSLE score, because I can get into RV! The beginning was difficult. I wasn't used to school when sec1 started, and sometimes hate coming to school. But things got better as time goes by. Maybe humans just always get to know people around them better when they have spent more time together, and start to appreciate when they are parting. I prefer the 2nd year I spent with my 3 classes to the first year. Though not all memories are nice, but they are still part of my life and its really fate that brings a class together.

Maybe I will remember 6E most, since its my graduating class. The class may not be very bonded, as can be seen from the attendance of our class outings..but its still a class that I like. That has been my thought when I first saw the class list. Hope that future class outings will be better and may we continue to meet after years and decades. My best tablemates, Haoyu, Phyllis and Priscilia, it has been enjoyable being part of this group of 4 and I got to know you guys better. I will miss the times!

Next, CCA. I spent 4 years in SJAB. I really didn't like the CCA in sec1, because its just so tough. But as we gain ranks, it became more fun. I like the St John spirit! I must say that SJAB had made me become more mature and outspoken. If not, I may still be the quiet and shy girl always hiding in some corner. Will remember the seniors and juniors, though I feel that we are losing touch already :x Hmm..if I really become a RV teacher, I hope to be the teacher-in-charge for SJAB hee.. My favourite St John cheer: Thunder, thunderation, we are the St John, delegation. When we fight with, determination, we create a SENSATION!
FAC! Very different from SJAB, since we are alot less tough physically lol. But its still made up of St John people. My dear squadmates, we have been in the same CCA for 6 years already, and gone through trainings, comps, FAC events and alot of other stuff. Its the kind of friendship thats not close but strong!

I geuss I have roughly finished writing down important parts of my RV life. Although this should be the longest of my posts, but it is never enough to capture everything. 6 years is a long time, and maybe thats why I can't bear to leave. The environment, the school culture, the teachers and friends that I see 5 days a week, the time is here for us to part. But I believe that fate will bring us together again.

Its time to move on, 有开始就会有终点, don't be too sad. Remember all the times that I have spent here. The memories will always stay. Look forward, work hard for A levels, play hard after that and there will be no regrets.

Kim's Family Restaurant

We went to Kim's Family Restaurant to eat today! Hahaha..finally went there after weeks of anticipation. The place really feels korean (but abit too quiet, maybe they can play some korean music or something haha) and the cutlery are totally korean, more korean than the ones i use at home haha. The menu has alot of food to choose from, and i had a hard time choosing. I decided to eat buckwheat noodles. I chose it coz i saw this noodles in some korean drama before, so just wanna try it. Its not bad! But the serving is alot, and we were all so full after the meal. The spicy rice cake is nice too, not like the fake kind that Dong Dae Mun sells lol. They gave us 14 side dishes in total. Hmm..we like the seaweed and marinated veggies the best. Aww..but the sad thing is that we went at the wrong time :( We didn't know that they close at 3pm, and we were still eating and wanted to refill the side dishes until they told us they are closed -.- So too bad, we didn't get to refill the side dishes. We shall go there again, and I will eat rice the next time, their rice is nice! And I mean plain white rice. :)

We went to Udder's to eat ice-cream after that. I like the ice-cream too. They have lots of funny stuff pasted on their walls. Haha why are the restaurants there so unique and special? Both the restaurants allow their customers to doodle on their wall. The Kim's wall is heavily vandalised lol. It has Lee Min Ho's signature too hehe.

There is a Lotte mart there too which sells korean food stuff. Didn't buy anything there though. Our outing ended quite early..since Melissa and Lynette were tired from taking SAT in the morning. I didn't feel like going home yet, so went to Lot 1 to walk around. Haha..havent been to Lot 1 for dunno how many years already. Its renovated and there is a sky garden with a water playground.

I feel good today. Don't stress anymore, A levels will be over in 2 months. By the time, almost all troubles will be gone. Just study hard now and do your best, and everything will be fine.

I sincerely thank everyone who wished me happy birthday :) These little wishes really made my day.

Yesterday while I was gonna sleep I thought about birthdays. Actually it doesn't mean much to me, especially my own birthday. Its just the day I am born. What I want is just simple wishes, I don't need all the grand parties or whatever. Haha maybe because I don't like to be the centre of attention. Hmm..this makes me sound abit emo on the day before my birthday.

But..I am truly happy today, I felt the love and care from those who are important to me. Its not how expensive or nice the presents are, but the effort and thoughts put into it. :)

Melissa, the one and only friend I have as a classmate for 6 consecutive years. Your presence mean so much to me that if not for you, I may not be how I am like today. In some way, you shaped my character :)

Lynette, I must say I only really got close to you in year5 and 6, the 2 years that we are not in the same class. Don't worry about whatever you did in SJAB, coz I dun know and dun rmb what you did. You gave me alot of support these 2 years!

GirlGirl, haha I dunno why you started calling me that, but I thought there was a period of time when we called each other twinnie. Although we were only in the same class for the first 2 years in RV, our friendship has been proven to be strong enough to withstand the time of 6 years! I think you are the cutest and funniest of my good friends. Lets go korea and HK some years later!

And, I don't know how to describe you..lost for words haha.

These are just for some of the more important people, and who really made me very happy today. Haha..I think I shall write for more people when the time comes for us to leave..

Haix..I am really not performing up to my own expectations. Maths, why issit maths again? I thought mid-years was already a signal to me that my maths is not really that good, and yet it happened again. I don't know whats the reason. I felt the paper was okay, but when the results come back it doesn't show that. I admit that I don't really practise doing questions when I revise maths..okay, I shall make myself practise more from now on. This is making me lose my confidence for maths.. I want back the kind of maths grades I have been having for the past 11years! So sorry, Ms Tan.

I can't take it when I don't do well for subjects that I am supposed to do well in.

When chem tut started I was still moaning about maths, and as Mr Chua "scold" us, I really got quite worried. What if it just happens that I don't do well for A levels? I will regret all my life. I am guilty for not studying after prelims ended and just waste time doing nothing. Its really not the time to slack yet. I see other people still working very hard.

Thankyou Ningyi and Lilin for the card and photo for FAC. That really made me smile in this moody day. I'll always remember all the times we spent in SJAB and FAC :)

Yays..prelims are finally over. Actually the whole prelims period didn't really feel very long..everything ended quite fast. The papers are generally okay..though I still feel that I chose the wrong question to do for chem p3. Nevermind, its over, just wait for the papers to come back. Only left with 3 more weeks of official school days, and then the real preparation for A levels will come. Haix..a part of me wants everything to be over soon, yet another part of me wants to continue staying in the protected school environment. I always feel abit lost and don't know what to do after exams are over..like a sudden lost of aim. But this feeling goes away quite fast haha.

Went to pay our respects to Mel ssi's 爷爷 today. I felt so awkward and tense there, just felt abit out of place and don't know what to do. Anyway, Ted is really cute! He ran around showing us things which he found interesting, and I like his English hahaha. Really reminds me of someone.

SS501 UFO is back!

Hahaha..my favourite SS501 blog is back! Just went to check, I did a post about it stopping updates on 18/3/10. Its been a few months.. Although it stopped updating, I still went back ocassionally to take a look. I was surprised to see a new post when I visited it today..thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Yays..its resumed to its 1st position on my favourites list for SS501.

Haha Jung Min has a facebook account now..been checking up on his updates :)

I spent the week mugging at home, haven't gone anywhere since saturday :x
